While the case provides more protection than a standard soft case, I could not get the Velcro corner place holders to work and the iPad kept slipping out. The angled stand was mediocre at best - the opening was actually smaller than the ipad using the integrated stand flap - and the iPad slid and fell with minimal vibration or a bump of the table. Works just as well to prop against a book or on lap. There is an elastic strap to hold the iPad, but it would sit directly across the center of the screen, so it is not feasible to use it and I am not sure why it is there. -- Just ok

This is a great case for someone like me who wants to use the iPad separately from any case or cover but wants it well protected at other times. It's attractive, sturdy, well constructed, and compact: no more than 1 1/4 inches thick. It is made of a woven material similar to that used for suitcases; it is quite stiff and thus provides good protection, but it still has a bit of flexibility. The inside is made of softer material to prevent scratches. The corners of the case are hard, providing good protection. I'm confident that if I were to drop the iPad when it was in this case, there would be no damage to the iPad. By joining two sets of velcro straps, it's possible to prop the case open so that it will hold the iPad at a convenient angle for viewing, as when watching a movie. I think this is an excellent value. Highly recommended. -- Great protection

I bought a soft cover case to go around my iPad but still needed a case to carry around my iPad for protection. This item is perfect and at a great price. The case is hard to protect from falls. The iPad fits snug inside even with the soft case on so it won't be sliding around in the case. The feature to use it as a stand is really great too. I am overall very pleased about this product and would highly recommend it. -- Excellent Protection

This is a great case. Very sturdy and the feature where you can stand up iPad to watch like tv is great. I am going to buy another for my husbands iPad!! And now I don't have to buy the iPad dock because I just use the case as one. -- Awesome Case!
